Service Centre

At Music Room London our Service/ Repair Centre portfolio is continually expanding as we develop and improve the services we offer. Our team are consistently on the

lookout for new and exciting ways of improving the service we offer. So when a new piece of kit arrives in the market place which enhances the way valve guitar amplifiers perform we get involved.

Now Music Room London are proud to announce our appointment as dealers by Orange Music for their new product DIVO (Digital Intelligent Valve Optimisation) featuring new tube bias technology TubeSync®

It’s brilliant, and once installed the DIVO technology automatically adjusts the bias of the output power valves/tubes to ensure best performance. It also monitors the amp's performance and will isolate faulty valves, running them at half power until the faulty valves can be replaced.

In a nutshell it “increases the reliability of amplifiers by maintaining the optimum performance of the valves by performing an "in circuit" test every time the amplifier is powered up”.

Divo keeps the amp running at peak efficiency by continually micro-adjusting the bias current for each individual valve.

Check out what Orange say:

The new DIVO technology automatically adjusts the bias of the output power tubes to ensure their full potential is realised. It monitors the amp’s performance and will isolate faulty tube failures, by running them at half power until the tubes can be changed. The DIVO system also increases the reliability of amplifiers by maintaining the optimum performance of the tubes by performing an ‘in circuit’ test every time the amplifier is powered up.

DIVO technology opens up a whole new dimensions in tone options allowing for the first time ever the ability to mix and match tubes. You can experiment with an EL34, 6L6, 6550, KT77 or any other tube type all at the same time in the same amp. With DIVO the Tubes are automatically matched.

DIVO will extend the lifespan of your tubes and never again pay a tech to re-bias.

DIVO can be easily integrated into any almost any guitar tube amplifier.

Orange amps will be offering this as option in their new Rockerverb 100 which will be ‘DIVO Ready’. For other Orange amps and most other brands Orange offer the DIVO Orange Tube Sync OV4, a complete standalone unit.

Divo currently available for octal base valves i.e.EL34, 6L6, 6550, 6V6, KT series, grid biased Amplifiers only.

They are not suitable for cathode bias amps or 9 pin amps i.e. EL84 as for Vox AC30, and similar types but there are a lots of amps from various manufacturers that are.

Approximately 50 mm height is required above the valves in the cabinet when Divo is fitted to give adequate ventilation. This of course will vary depending on the make and model of your amp.

For more details on compatibility and help on how to determine if Divo will fit into your amplifier simply call us on 020 7252 8271
