Operating in a former Library built by Andrew Carnegie in 1911, Music Room London was established in 1985 to offer our unique and spacious building as an ideal, creative space for our customers to work in and enjoy. Music Room London operates five quality Rehearsal studios. We have a range of rooms to suit everyone from the practicing drummer to full bands.

Our versatile spaces also lend themselves to dance lessons, photo and video shoots, theatre rehearsals, script readings, television, plays and other entertainment support purposes. We can also accommodate meetings, and are able to offer flip charts, white boards, projectors to our customers.

All rooms are maintained to a very high standard with Electrovoice and JBL PA systems and monitoring. All Rooms are also equipped with a CD player for playback. Back-line, amps, drums and keyboards etc are available to rent by the session.

We have special daytime rates for solo pianists, which includes acoustic piano. We offer a similar service for solo drummers including a kit when required.

All of our clients are able to make use of our kitchen, with free tea and coffee as well as our relaxed chill out area and our leafy, sunny garden.

Easy ground floor access as well as free street parking makes loading and unloading simple after 10am Monday to Saturday. Outside our building there is a parking bay that can be utilised up to one hour (please be sure to check signs before leaving your vehicle). After 10am and on Sunday the Red Route is not in force.

We are now more accessible than ever by public transport via the Jubilee and London Overground Lines.
Nearest tube/ train station is New Cross Gate (5 mins walk to Music Room London). We also have excellent transport links via buses 53, 453, *21, *171, *172 (*Alight at All Saints Church New Cross Road SE14).
