Phoebe & Tom tell intricate, honest musical stories with a smile and a wink. They will make you laugh and ponder as their cello and guitar lines thread through tall tales with unlikely wisdom and the reassurance that, although the sun sometimes gets lost, it always finds its way home.


With playful melodies, sharp lyricism and an undercurrent of mischief, the duo blend folk-inspired harmonies with jazz-inflected twists in performances filled with humour, heart and a touch of the dreamlike.


Phoebe Harty is a London-based cellist and songwriter who’s rich musical background spans the folk traditions of her native Lancashire and the rest of the British Isles, through to the traditional music and dance of northern Spain and the vibrant pop and indie scene of South East London.
