A little information about FBT

Celebrating our 50th year in 2013, FBT (Factory Baldoni Tanoni) is a major international professional audio brand. With a purpose built factory complex in the Italian town of Recanati, we design and manufacture a wide range of products from open-air line array speaker systems through to static installations in concert halls and mobile PA systems for bands and DJs.

Central to our success is a fundamental philosophy to improve the sound quality of professional audio products. Sounds simple? Not when considering the multitude of applications any professional product has to be ready for. At FBT, we have designed a comprehensive range of products that we feel gives the user the choice they need when choosing the right products for the application.

FBT History

Created in 1963 by Bruno Baldoni and Vinicio Tanoni, the company originally set out to create sound reinforcement for local venues. The work carried out in those early days lead to the company receiving numerous recommendations and accolades and we soon grew to be an active player in the professional audio world.

Throughout our history, we have maintained a reputation for sound quality, craftsmanship and reliability. We put this down to our attention to detail and fastidious manufacturing and testing process. With everything from research and development right through to final assembly all under the same roof, we can retain absolute control over all of our products and gain the quality levels that we strive for.

Now a company with nearly 100 employees, we are also able to react quickly to changes in market trends. Completely self-contained, our factory has all of the elements to make the complete product, including electrical and mechanical manufacturing, plastic molding, carpentry, paint shop and testing.

Dedicated to supporting our 80-strong network of international distributors, we operate a comprehensive service department, which is able to support products going back over 15 years. We also provide global marketing support for the continued promotion of FBT in every territory.

Music Room London Sponsors ‘The Wing Assignment’ Exhibition

Music Room London are proud to announce we are sponsoring ‘The Wing Assignment‘ art exhibition taking place this Thursday 28th of March through Saturday 30th.

Titled ‘The Wing Asylum’ the exhibition is formed of a collection of artists and is described as follows by founder and Creative Director Nina Farrel:

“The purpose of The Assignment is to provide a platform for creatives to express themselves freely in response to a single evocative object/concept/theme. It is really about the process, to provide inspiration and motivate self-expression without compromise. The Wing Assignment evolved from a personal project, curious to to prompt a range of different artistic interpretation, I invited a handful of friends and artists to respond to the wing, a physical object that is not only beautiful but also loaded with symbolism. The results were so diverse and inspired that the project literally took flight on its own”

Music Room London are supplying audio/video equipment, lighting and sound reinforcement for the event. Which will feature installations, paintings, photography amongst other disciplines and media. And will also feature a ‘Secret Cinema’ giving shows of audio and video works.

This latest exhibition is to take place at a beautiful disused Chapel on Asylum Road in Peckham.
The exhibition space is but a short walk from Peckham Station

This exhibition is free and welcome to all

Woolwich Winter / Christmas 2012

’12 Days of Christmas’ & ‘Woolwich Winter Warmer’ Event – 8th to 22nd December 2012

Music Room London had an extremely busy time in December this year at the Woolwich Winter Warmer.
Santa, his reindeer and sleigh, a host of owls, performances from Christmas entertainers, community choirs and a lantern-lit parade, made it a very Christmassy scene.

Music Room London also undertook the lighting of Equitable House, which is prominently situated at one end of the Square, for the duration of the festival.
We provided large architectural LED lighting colour changers and projected images and logos with impressive results. Clients and members of the public alike really appreciated the lighting and effects on this wonderful building.

Each afternoon, school and community choirs sang around General Gordon Square’s spectacular Christmas tree and on Saturday 22nd December the Royal Bough of Greenwich featured a grand finale and a firework display set to music.
