STUDIO 1

Studio 1 is the largest of the Music Room London rehearsal studios, with a spacious 71 square metres to work with. This studio is perfect for production rehearsals and bands looking to rehearse in preparation for a live gig as the studio now boasts a modest size stage with ample monitoring.

STUDIO 2

Studio 2 is a very comfortably-sized rehearsal studio, with an area of 33 square metres. Attractively designed and outfitted with an FBT PA system. This room offers a versatile, useable space suitable for many applications.

STUDIO 3

At 35 square metres, Studio 3 is the second largest of the five Music Room London rehearsal studios. An excellent option for bands with larger equipment or for larger ensembles needing more room to move about.

STUDIO 4

The most intimate Music Room London rehearsal studio at 19 square metres, Studio 4 is a great fit and an affordable solution for small combos and solo artists. This room features beautiful lighting options and an excellent acoustic balance.

STUDIO 5

Studio 5 is a great room for small combo rehearsals. As it is also the most economically-priced room available, it's an ideal option for smaller bands, performers getting together for duo writing and solo performer practice such as pianists, drummers etc.

ON THE DAY BOOKINGS:

  • On the day bookings can be made by calling up from 10am on the day that you wish to rehearse.

  • On the day sessions must be a minimum of 2 hours in duration, and the studio offered will subject to availability and convenience. Backline can be hired for the usual rates.

​

  • Solo musicians @ £10.00 p/h

​

  • Groups of 2 or more @ £15.00 p/h

​

  • Subject to availability.

COMMUNAL CAFÉ, BAR & GARDEN

  • We know it is important to take a break during any length rehearsal and are proud to offer a peaceful communal bar space and private garden where you can relax, take time out, or use as a place to meet or organise future creative endeavours.

​

  • We have a range of Clipper teas, coffee from local roastery Old Spike, Momo kombucha, and a range of soft drinks. We also stock a variety of delicious snacks with vegan and gluten-free options.

​

  • CORNISH PASTIES & VEGAN SAUSAGE ROLLS – Simply order on arrival, our food offering will be expanding soon.

​

  • We are a fully licensed bar serving our favourite beers from local breweries, fine wine from Davy’s wine merchants, and a selection of spirits. As a thank you for being with us, rehearsal clients get 10% off at the bar.

​

  • No alcohol can be brought onto the premises as we are fully licenced.

​

  • WIFI is free to use, please ask a member or staff for the login details. We also offer a high-speed internet connection, for £3.00 per 24 hours.

  • Take advantage of our well stocked onsite musical equipment and accessories shop, offering the essentials for live performance - perfect for your rehearsal, gig, or touring needs!

EQUIPMENT STORAGE:

  • We have sizeable storage cages for long-term rental, priced from £80 pcm.

​

  • Cage dimensions: W: 178cm H: 114cm D: 105cm

​

  • Access to storage is available during our standard opening hours, from 10:00AM to 11:00PM on weekdays, 12:00PM to 11:00PM on Saturdays and 12:00PM to 9:00PM on Sundays. We also offer an out of hours access service which must be arranged in advance and is subject to staff availability. This service will incur an additional cost.

​

  • Currently all our storage bays are in use. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please call us or leave your details by filling out the contact form here.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

  • The nearest overground station is New Cross Gate (10-minutes) or Queens Road Peckham (15-minutes).

​

  • The following buses stop a short distance from Music Room London - 21, 453, 53 and 172.

​

  • If you arrive from the Old Kent Road direction, get off at BRIANT STREET or from Deptford towards London, get off at BESSON STREET.

​

  • Lots of different buses stop at New Cross Bus Garage – which is seven minutes walk from us. These include the 36, 136, 171, 177, 436, and the P3.

​

  • If you are cycling, you can lock your bike to the inside of the railings at the front of the building, or alternatively, leave it locked in the rear garden. All bicycles are left at your own risk.

​

  • Sorry but no electric scooters are allowed in the building.

PARKING & TOUR BUSES

  • There is a Red Route loading bay directly outside Music Room London, approximately 40ft in length so your tour bus or 40ft trailer will fit. The bay is on a red route but, you can stop here Monday – Saturday for up to an hour after 10am.

​

  • After unloading, park in any of the roads off the New Cross Road (A2) there are no parking restrictions or charges on the residential streets around – just stay off the yellow lines.

​

  • DO NOT STOP OUTSIDE MUSIC ROOM LONDON BEFORE 10am as there is a TFL camera which enforces the Red Route, just park on one of the unrestricted roads nearby and wait until 10.01am

BOOKING INFORMATION:

  • We offer flexible 4–13-hour time slots, and all sessions can be booked in advance online. For any alternative session times, please call or email and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements. Please note, this will not always be possible.

​

  • If you have booked a succession of lockouts, equipment can remain setup overnight. Studios will be locked and cleaned between uses.

​

  • For shorter (non-lockout) rehearsals occurring over consecutive days, we offer an overnight storage facility for £10 per night. Please email or call to discuss this in advance with one of our team.

PRICING & BACKLINE:

  • Every rehearsal is unique; therefore, the studios are offered as a blank canvas which can be tailored to your requirements.

​

  • Pricing is structured around the session duration and the size of the studio.

​

​

  • Each studio comes equipped with a PA system and analogue mixing console w/digital FX. Up to 6 microphones, mic stands and XLR cables are included in the price.

​

​

  • All equipment hire is subject to availability.

INSURANCE:

Insurance for the equipment you use, or which remains on site, is the responsibility of the owner at all times. Please make sure that your insurance policy covers your equipment, including high value items as well as equipment owned by third parties/hire companies etc. Also check your policy covers all your equipment when stored or left on site unattended as Music Room Solutions Ltd (T/A Music Room London, Music Room Hire or Old Library Bar) cannot be held responsible for items left on our premises. Insurance cover for all property is the client’s full responsibility at all times.
