Waterloo Quarter Food Festival 2012

6th, 13th, 20th & 27th September 2012

This festival has now become Waterloo’s annual celebration of food and drink, in Emma Cons Gardens, Waterloo SE1.

Normally held in June, it was instead staged every Thursday in September this year, to fit in with the Olympics. The programme featured a pop-up cookery theatre and chefs recreating their restaurant’s favourite dishes.
The participants in this year’s cooking spectacular included Konditor & Cook, the Ginger Pig, Greensmiths, and the Bangalore, offering a delicious Indian barbecue.
The Festival’s own Gastro Passport gave festival-goers discounts at pubs, bars, cafés, restaurants and food shops.
For a really enjoyable, mouth-watering event accompanied by music and comedy, get to the Waterloo Quarter Food Festival!
