About the event
We’ll be opening the doors early so that (fingers crossed for sunny weather!) you can enjoy a drink or two in the back garden of the venue before the screening.
The fully-stocked bar will stay open after the film and we hope you’ll stay around to enjoy the surroundings and celebrate with the film festival team. Following the progress of Aretha Franklin’s career from a child singing in her father’s church’s choir to her rise to international superstardom, Respect is the remarkable true story of the music icon’s journey to find her voice.
Doors open at 4pm, film at 5pm, bar open till 9.30pm or later depending on demand!
