Local jazz fans are in for a treat when pianist Tim Richards brings his newly reformed trio to Music Room for this gig, their first appearance since before Covid/Lockdown. The new line-up includes Alex Keen (double bass) and drummer Daniel Howard. 

Tim has been a name on the jazz scene since the 1980s, fronting bands such as Spirit Level, Great Spirit and The Hextet. His trio have entertained audiences from Inverness to Istanbul and have three acclaimed albums out on the 33 Records label. Expect swinging jazz with some quirky twists… a mix of original compositions, blues and standards, including some Monk tunes.
