Dan McConkey is a saxophonist and composer active in the London contemporary jazz scene. The Dan McConkey Trio is a new project showcasing his warm, lush tenor sound and a highly melodic improvisational approach. Dan’s compositional style draws on folk and contemporary European styles as well as more straight-ahead jazz writing.
